RBDS & RDS PTY Codes and Program Types
The North American RBDS Radio Broadcast Data System and the European RDS Radio Data System both allow for the transmission of Program Type information for the FM radio receivers to display for the listener. This is a listing of the different types of programming and the codes used to identify them for both the RBDS and RDS systems.
