Not only is the VVM highly accurate, but its small size
and low price makes it particularly useful in small cable systems
and SMATV head-ends. It is user friendly. Just push the button
and observe the digital meter. No calibration, adjustments,
interpretation, or training required for precise measurement of
baseband video signals.
VideoCipher incoming and out going levels can be set, as
well as white to sync relationships. Use the VVM to set up video
levels for cable scrambling systems.
The unit automatically shuts off when not in use
providing long battery life with a standard 9 volt alkaline
battery. A nickel-cadmium battery and charger are available.

*The IRE (IEEE Standard 23S-1) is built-in so that the VVM
readings are consistent with waveform monitor readings with the
IRE filter switched in.
